Bradford Coleman, LPC, NCC
Owner & Counselor
About
Welcome to Lithos Health! I am Bradford Coleman, Owner and Psychotherapist. I am a soon-to-be husband, visual artist, gardener, and sculptor. I worked as an Account Manager in Athens and Atlanta, GA before moving to the world of mental health in 2010. I felt a tremendous pressure to find deep meaning in my career, and people always said that I listen well and gave good advice. With that, I enrolled at Mercer University in Atlanta. I quickly discovered that counseling was a lot more than listening and rarely was about giving advice, but about asking the right questions and helping people gain insight and skills to reach their goals and heal.
I have deeply loved working as a therapist because it has given me an opportunity to creatively help others heal, using modalities such as sandtray therapy, play therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR. I have been able to draw from my experiences of teaching English abroad in Thailand and teaching ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages), to connect with people across cultures and barriers. My Christian faith influences how I conceptualize issues that are common to us all. I have worked closely with churches, Christian schools, and Christian adoption agencies to deliver messages and services of hope and healing. This is my determined aim for Lithos Health, and I believe that God has blessed this business. |
